Hoover Sailing Club Burgee
Club Racing

If you are interested in racing, but are not sure how to start, stop by our club during races per the schedule below. Come out and hitch a ride! - there is almost always someone looking for crew members on their boat. Many members would be happy to give you a ride just on the general principle that you are interested in sailing.

Don't feel nervous if you do not have sailing experience. All sailors started the sport from scratch at some point in their life. You can also e-mail any of the contacts on our HSC Contacts page if you are interested in sailing, if you have questions, or if you would like to find a boat to get a ride on. You can get a basic introduction to both sailing and sail racing at U.S. Sailing's Online Education page - just click the appropriate course for your needs and click through the Flash slides.
