Hoover Sailing Club Burgee
Club Racing

If you're interested in racing, but are not sure how to start, stop by the club during races per the schedule below. Come out and hitch a ride! - there is almost always someone looking for crew members on their boat. Many members would be happy to give you a ride just because you are interested in sailing.

Don't feel nervous if you don't have previous sailing experience. All sailors started the sport from scratch at some point in their lives. You can also e-mail any of the contacts on our HSC Contacts page if you are interested in sailing, if you have questions, or if you would like to find a boat to get a ride on. You can get a basic introduction to both sailing and sail racing at U.S. Sailing's Online Education page - just click the appropriate course for your needs and click through the Flash slides.
