Daysailors and racing champions share the quiet waters of Hoover Reservoir through this informal sailing club. Members and guests have easy access to storage, launching, and the racing area, which is comfortably viewed by spectators from the elevated banks on which the clubhouse stands. Founded in 1962, the Hoover Sailing Club has established an affordable and enjoyable operation through the member-maintained facilities and programs.
A variety of membership options are available, and the lake and grounds are active throughout the season with racing, social events, training, and youth activities. The club offers sailing lessons to the community - an excellent way to test the waters before diving in to the sport. In the pages of this web site, and the link to the club newsletter, you can learn a great deal about the club and its activities, and how to contact us for more information.

You can find directions to the club, and a list of nearby lodgings by following the Map and Local Info links at the top of the page. For information on our public sailing classes, click the Learn to Sail link. If you'd like to take a quick look around the club grounds, see our Photo Tour page.
